6 Best World Events In Sea Of Thieves, Ranked
In Sea of Thieves, there are a lot of different kinds of World Events, but these are some of the best ones.
In Sea of Thieves’ huge open world, players can take part in different World Events. Not only do these events offer a lot of money, but they also pose a lot of risks that require crews to navigate carefully and work well together. Each server only has one world event going on at a time, which is easy to tell by the big signs or clouds in the sky. When a Crew finishes the event or the timer for the event runs out, the cloud goes away and the Kraken starts looking for food. As soon as the Kraken fight is over, another random World Event will start.
It can be hard for players to decide whether or not to take part in these tournaments. Even though the benefits are often tempting, the risks and challenges may make even the most experienced players think twice. Before joining a world event, players need to think carefully about their current skill level and the tools they have at their disposal. One thing is for sure, though: the world of Sea of Thieves offers a unique adventure.
Ghost Fleet

Ghost Fleets are easy to spot because there is a big blue storm in the sky, and a group of ghost ships are guarding an island. As the players get closer, the ghost ships start firing their cannons at them, putting them in a thrilling naval fight. The Ghost Fleet event happens in four waves, and each one gets worse than the last. At the end of the event, there is an exciting showdown with Flameheart’s personal ship, the powerful Burning Blade.
Getting rid of the waves of ships isn’t easy, but the benefits are well worth the work. Each Captain Ship that is destroyed leaves behind a number of ghostly riches, including the highly sought-after Captain Skull of the Damned. Crews can also get the “Cannonball Crate of the Damned,” which gives them access to “Ghostly Cannonballs” and lets them cause chaos by firing spectral weapons from their own ships. In Sea of Thieves, the Ghost Fleet event combines the excitement of naval combat with the appeal of valuable ghostly loot. It tests how well players can work together as a team, but it can also be a bit boring.
Skeleton Fort

When a big green skull shows up in the sky, it means that a Skeleton Fort is somewhere in the Sea of Thieves. Players can sail towards it and use the guns on their ships to shoot at the fort and kill the skeletons who are controlling the cannons. When the cannons stop firing, players have to get off the ship and get ready for the real task.
The Skeleton Fort event has 12 waves of skeletons that keep coming at you. Each wave gets harder than the last one. A strong Skeleton Captain will appear every few rounds. You have to beat these captains to move on to the next round, which makes the fight even more exciting and important. At the end, players have to fight three Skeleton Lords in the last three waves. After beating each Skeleton Lord and getting all of the loot they dropped, players can get the Stronghold Key and open the fort’s stronghold. Here, players can look through the many items they’ve won. But players may get a little tired of the event because it has the same kinds of enemies and not much else to do.
Kraken

Different from other World Events, The Kraken stands out. It can only appear when nothing else is going on, which makes it a unique event. The Kraken doesn’t have a cloud sign like other events do. Instead, it attacks a ship at random in the open sea as soon as a world event is over. No matter the weather or time of day, when the Kraken shows up, the water around it gets a lot darker. No longer will it be possible to see what’s below the waves. The Kraken can be seen from far away because it has many limbs that come up from the depths.
Getting into a fight with the Kraken is a risky thing to do. The creature’s huge arms can wrap around the ship and trap the crew on all sides. It takes a lot of skill and teamwork to fight back. But players get good things if they beat the Kraken. Each tentacle drops a rare piece of Kraken Meat and a few random prize items, which is a good reason to stay for the fight. This event is fun because it is unpredictable and the stakes are high, but it can be very stressful for pirates who don’t know what they’re doing or don’t have the right tools.
Skeleton Fleet

A Skeleton Fleet world event is close by if there is a green ship in the clouds. Players can steer their ships to the marked area and get ready for combat. During the event, you must beat three waves of skeleton ships.
In the third and last wave of the event, a powerful Skeleton Captain on a Skeleton Ship will show up. The new Skeleton Captain can do more damage than the previous waves, so players will have to get ready for a tougher task. The end battle with the Skeleton Captain adds a fun and interactive layer that Ghost Fleets doesn’t have. After beating the Skeleton Captain, players can get the prizes that come next.
Ashen Winds

If you see a huge red storm in the sky, it means that the Ashen Winds World Event is happening. This tornado will lead players to a place where Ashen Skeletons are doing a spell to call the Ashen Lord. The World Event is a three-part fight against one of the four Ashen Lords: Red Ruth, Backrooms, Old Horatio, Warden Chi, or Captain Grimm.
The Lords are similar to the Skeleton Lords in some ways, but they have their own skills that have to do with fire and get stronger as the fight goes on. This makes the fight very unique and interesting. When the Lords are killed, they drop the Ashen Winds Skull and a lot of different Devil’s Roar Treasure items. The Ashen Winds Skull is a unique Bounty Skull that can be sold or used to make a flamethrower that is both a lot of fun and very powerful.
Fort Of Fortune

The Fort of Fortune is without a question one of the most exciting World Events in Sea of Thieves. Players must fight off 15 waves of enemies, including coral skeletons, dark skeletons, standard skeletons, and gold skeletons. This event is similar to the Skeleton Fort event, but it is harder. After this, unlike in most Skeleton Forts, one of the four Ashen Lords will take the place of the final boss.
What makes this event so exciting is that it’s the only place you can find high-value items like Athena’s Fortune Treasures and the Chest of Fortune. The event is a great mix of PvP and PvE because players from all over the server will often be fighting over the prizes.
You can play Sea of Thieves on your PC, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X.
